First e-bike ride
Practical GoVelo guide — before booking and handover.
The Bosch CX motor amplifies pedalling; it does not drive without input. You feel assist when you pedal — on flats, Eco or Tour keep consumption in check; on climbs, eMTB or Turbo help but empty the battery faster.
At handover we set the right mode for your level, explain the display, hydraulic brakes, motor cut-off and how to lock the bike for short stops. Helmet and lock are included.
We do not promise a fixed kilometre figure: range depends on weight, terrain, temperature and mode. For a typical day with 800 Wh, plan to return with 20–30% battery reserve.
